  • 5 things that helped me improve fatigue in Fibromyalgia and Chronic fatigue so I could wake up energized again
I am able to go to sleep earlier, get into a deep sleep, and wake up feeling more energized these days as long as I do some of these things. I no longer have fatigue (or oversensitivity to light and sound, IBS, pain, foggy thinking, pressure on top of my head, pain in the roots of my scalp hair, poor memory and concentration).

I can do normal things again with friends and family instead of watching from the side-lines.

  • How I overcame Brain Fog, poor concentration, and memory with Fibromyalgia🙂
At school I would write every detail down so when an exam was coming, I could go over it about 3 times to let it sink in. Some of my classmates could remember things without any revision. I wondered why it was so different for me.

Concentrating on things for a long time stretched my endurance. If there was too much to think about all at once, I got stressed easily.

  • How I got rid of Pain in the roots of my scalp hair & Pressure on Top of my head👱‍♀️
I remember as a young girl having my long hair tied up. It hurt, especially when I let it down. Touching my scalp was sensitive. Having the brush running through it was not relaxing.

I just thought it was me.

No one else complained of this.

I put up with this until I was about 53.

  • 5 things that helped my Fibromyalgia symptoms so I could wake up energised and pain-free again.
There was a time when I wished I could wake up every morning with lots of energy like I used to, feeling great and getting everything on my 'to-do list' done.

I was frustrated being tired all the time and the pain in my neck didn't help, it would bring on headaches with auras (little blind spots or lights) that just took the joy out of my day.

Being in pain on top of being tired, I just didn't have the energy left to do much except lie down and fall asleep. The pain I could put up with sometimes but the fatigue just stopped me from enjoying life. It made me feel foggy in my head, I couldn’t think properly.

I really wanted to find something that could help me get back to my normal self again and do things with others.

  • 3 things I do to have a Comfortable Belly with IBS in Fibromyalgia
I used to have a lot of problems with IBS and I noticed it was worse when I was stressed. It was a hassle and sometimes embarrassing having to ‘go’ often and it would stop me visiting people. Then when it switched to constipation, swelling in my abdomen, feeling low in energy, headaches and it could sometimes cause bad breath.

I wanted my abdomen to feel comfortable with no pain or swelling.

I found one thing I had in common with others with IBS and other similar symptoms I was getting, was Long Term Stress.

  • What I did to help my skin, sight, and sound oversensitivity.😎
What I did to help my skin, sight, and sound oversensitivity.😎

I could never wear wool straight on my skin. I could feel the slightest thing that touched it. I couldn't stand hair touching my skin or a loose strand of hair in the bed. I also reacted to mosquito bites more than anyone else.

Bright lights, like when I would go to see a live band, I would end up with a headache which could turn into a migraine with auras (blind spots or lights), from the stage lights. When car lights came towards me at night. Or loud noises, or even lots of background noise, when I was trying to hear what someone was saying in a crowded room.

Even though I am a whole lot better now, I still don't like it when the TV is on and my partner is talking to me at the same time. It's like input overload.

I always wondered why this affected me and not others.

  • Dizziness, Vertigo and some Headaches
When there is not as much blood (and oxygen) as we need or pressure build up in the head and ears from not being able to drain old blood and lymph out of the head you can get dizziness or vertigo and headaches.

In the Aches Away & Energize Health Program I teach a gentle movement and breathing technique that can help pump old blood and lymph out of the head to decrease the pressure build up which can relieve these symptoms and pump new blood up into the back of the head to provide oxygen and nutrients.

  • Vitamin D - why it's important in Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue and Osteomalacia
Some of the symptoms of Fibromyalgia, Osteomalacia and Chronic Fatigue are similar to symptoms you get when you are vitamin D deficient, like muscle pain, bone aches, depression, feelings of weakness and fatigue that won't stop. • Why do people get Auras with Migraines?
    Auras
Auras are any of the sensory changes that happen before a migraine headache. They can affect your vision, hearing, or ability to speak. You could also have muscle weakness or tingling. The kind of visual disturbances you might get are flashing lights, blurred vision or blind spots in your field of vision (blind spots are not always an aura so see an optometrist or your doctor if you have not had them diagnosed).
Only about one quarter of migraines has auras.

  • Sleep – Why we need it - especially in Fibromyalgia, Crohn’s Disease, Chronic Fatigue, Irritable Bowel, Prediabetes, decreased immunity, over-stressed, and depression
When we are asleep, our digestive tract should be resting. Our body uses our energy to heal, instead of digestion. If we don’t get a long enough sleep, we don’t get into a deep sleep (delta) often enough. Deep sleep helps the brain create and store new memories and improves its ability to collect and recall information.

People who suffer the type of symptoms found in Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Vertigo, Psoriatic Arthritis, Chronic Fatigue and people who are overstressed can often not cope with even small amounts of caffeine. It can make their symptoms worse without them realising why they suddenly feel worse. Throw in a bit of stress at the same time, and things can go haywire.
